Ratio

If I have 3 apples you have 2 apples

In ratio, 3 : 2

I have 6 apples you have 4 apples

3 : 2

6 : 4

9 : 6

Given two numbers A and B in the the form of a ratio, A : B

If there are 2 of A then there would be 2 of B

(Which means 2 x A and 2 x B)

If there are 3 of A then there would be 3 of B

And so on

This is how you work out ratio
